Connections are a necessary aspect of completing work in the computer age, as user terminals need to be able to communicate with file, print, mail and web systems. These feats are accomplished with servers, devices that Hewlett-Packard has a rich history of working on and advancing. The commercial applications have proven endless and enabled Hewlett-Packard to become a major player in business enterprise technology.
