Inventing A New Logo: 2000 HP Redesign

In 2000, the company logo returned to using the “hp” initials without spelling out the company name. The word “invent” evoked Hewlett-Packard’s history as a company of inventors, its ability to reinvent itself multiple times to engage new markets and the empowerment Hewlett-Packard gave its customers to pursue their own projects.
