Modified HP Logo: A Pocket-Sized Logo

Date: 1968

Since the Hewlett-Packard logo introduced in 1967 could be too big for some products, the company developed a modified logo to adorn some devices. The rectangle encasing the iconic lowercase italic “hp” would stand out in even the smallest spaces, such as the bottom of a pocket calculator.
