The restored Hewlett-Packard garage featured a Sears Craftsman drill press, which was nearly identical to Hewlett-Packard’s first piece of equipment. Dave Packard brought a used model with him when he moved from Schenectady to Palo Alto to found Hewlett-Packard with Bill Hewlett.
