Anti-Pollution Instruments at HP
Date: 1986
Hewlett-Packard entered the field for anti-pollution instruments in the mid-1960s, in large part through the acquisition of F&M Scientific Corporation in 1965. The F&M Division of Hewlett-Packard would produce gas chromatographs that many organizations, including federal and state environmental organizations and universities, would use to measure minute traces of pollutants in soil or air.
