Laudel: Receptionist to Personnel Manager

Anne Laudel got her start at Hewlett-Packard in 1950 as a receptionist. She later became “personnel interviewer” and, by the late 1950s, had become the company’s personnel manager, showing how women advanced to senior and management roles by the mid-century mark.
