HP employees of the Vancouver division volunteered at the Children’s Home Society in Washington, working on maintenaince projects inside and outside the facility. The statewide nonprofit provided child and family counseling, youth programs and parent education, and foster care opportunities. HP had a strong tradition of giving toward children’s causes, including through the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, named in honor of Dave’s wife.
