The Heinz Awards are given out annually by the Heinz Family Foundation to recognize individuals who had made important contributions in various areas of modern life. Bill and Dave jointly received the Awards’ first-ever Chairman’s Medal for Lifetime Achievement. The Chairman’s Medal is still given out from time to time but, unlike other Heinz Awards, is not issued every year.
