The HP 21: Uncompromising Innovation

Building on the success of the HP 35 product line, the company introduced a new, more advanced generation of pocket calculators in 1975. One Hewlett-Packard publication noted that the HP 21 would be a “direct replacement” for the HP 35, and included a shorter twelve-digit display, controlled display formatting, polar to rectangular conversions and much more.
