Precision Architecture: The Future Now
Date: 1986
Hewlett-Packard celebrated the shipment of its first products to use Precision Architecture (Hewlett-Packard’s proprietary reduced instruction set computing technology) with its typical exuberance. More than 5,000 Hewlett-Packard employees attended the celebration. An employee wore a costume modeled on the clean suit associates would have worn while fabricating the processor.
