Date: 2005

Throughout the restoration of all three buildings on the Addison Avenue property, craftsmen painstakingly saved as much original material as they could. Rafters with moderate damage were repaired and received a crucial Bondo treatment, while compromised areas were cut back to sound wood and either rebuilt or used in other areas of the property. When “new” lumber was necessary, period appropriate wood was reclaimed from other buildings of similar age.
