Date: 1957

Mary Henry’s mosaic murals for HP’s Page Mill headquarters marked a turning point in her career and in the company’s embrace of art. The vibrant abstractions, drawn from waveforms and circuit patterns, quickly became a defining feature of Building 3. While Henry went on to achieve renown in the Op-Art movement, her work at HP endures as one of her most significant legacies. Decades later, the murals still greet employees and visitors, symbolizing the creative spirit that has long been at the heart of HP’s culture.
