The HP Asian Indian Employees Network was inaugurated in June 1996 with an elaborate ceremony at HP’s Palo Alto headquarters. The festivities included a traditional Indian dance performed by software design engineer Sharada Bose (pictured here), a keynote speech from HP CEO Lew Platt and videotaped message of congratulations from Bill Hewlett.
