The TouchPad was Hewlett-Packard’s first product for the burgeoning tablet market. Though technologically strong, it struggled to gain market share as users embraced alternative operating systems. Still, the device paved the way for Hewlett-Packard’s eventual successes in the tablet and 2-in 1 markets.
