Reclaiming Santa Rosa’s Water

Hewlett-Packard’s Santa Rosa site irrigated all 10 acres of its landscaping with reclaimed manufacturing water — which amounted to 43 million gallons of water in 1992 alone. (Left to right) John Walz, wastewater technician; Tom Garrett, environmental-services supervisor; and Bob Brown, Sonoma County environmental manager, admired the landscaping and the irrigation at the site’s baseball field.
