Hewlett-Packard’s VidJet Pro worked with Hewlett-Packard printers to allow video images from any source to be quickly printed on plain paper or transparencies. It allowed consumers more direct interactivity with their media, and was particularly useful for producing storyboards and indexing videos, because it could print time-codes for each printed image and be set to print at regular intervals, such as every third frame or the first frame of every scene.
