Progress: HP 35’s 20th Anniversary
On the 20th anniversary of the HP 35 (left foreground) in 1972, Bill Hewlett took a moment to reflect on how Hewlett-Packard had revolutionized the way people computed. The HP 35 obsoleted the slide rule in Bill Hewlett’s hands, and by 1992, the HP 95LX palmtop (right foreground) offered users not just a calculator, but an entire MS-DOS compatible PC.
