Hewlett-Packard’s first move into printing came with the 1958 acquisition of FL Moseley Company, which made graphic printing devices. The new Moseley division became in effect Hewlett-Packard’s first printing and imaging business. FL Moseley Company was also Hewlett-Packard’s first acquisition.
