Hewlett-Packard Joins Energy Star

When the Environmental Protection Agency launched the Energy Star program to certify energy-efficient devices, Hewlett-Packard was one of the program’s first partners. The company’s LaserJet 4L printer, released in 1993, would be one of the first Energy Star products, from Hewlett-Packard or anyone else.
