The 1960s brought a new scrutiny to race and inequality in the United States. Dave Packard explained to managers what this climate meant for Hewlett-Packard Company, an organization that always abhorred discrimination but which needed to continue refining and enhancing its efforts to foster diversity and inclusion as its understanding of these issues evolved.
