Caroline Kusske soldered a connection on a 400A range switch, a winding machine built in the company shops. Kusske retired in 1960 after more than 16 years at Hewlett-Packard Company. “Caroline helped in the design of Hewlett-Packard’s original winding equipment, thereby making our machines more efficient and accurate,” noted a company publication.
